3. How and why we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries, schedule conversations, assess fit, and provide the services or updates you request;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website, forms, marketing, measurement, and business processes;
  • understand whether campaigns and content lead to meaningful business inquiries and improve acquisition and conversion measurement;
  • maintain lead, subscriber, and customer relationship records; and
  • prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and security incidents; comply with legal obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Legal bases for EEA and UK individuals

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal information when necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, perform a contract, comply with a legal obligation, or pursue our legitimate interests in operating, securing, measuring, and improving our business without overriding your rights and interests. We rely on consent for communications or processing where consent is required by law. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

4. How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose personal information to service providers that support our operations, including providers of website hosting, form and database infrastructure, analytics and measurement, advertising platforms, customer-relationship and communication tools, scheduling tools, and professional advisors. We disclose only what is reasonably necessary for the purpose described in this notice and expect service providers to handle information under contractual or legal confidentiality and security obligations.

Our public website uses Manus-managed website infrastructure and performance measurement, Google-hosted web fonts, and Google Analytics delivered through Google Tag Manager. Analytics is on by default unless you have opted out using our website controls. If you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form, LinkedIn processes that form under LinkedIn’s privacy terms and provides the submitted lead details to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety, and property of Boost Higher or others, or in connection with an actual or proposed corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.

5. Advertising, analytics, and campaign measurement

We use campaign parameters and measurement tools to understand which content and marketing activity lead to inquiries. Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager, measures page visits, navigation, scrolling, interactions with our service tools, form starts and errors, and successfully saved inquiry requests while analytics is on. Google may process cookie identifiers and technical information, including IP-derived approximate location and browser or device information. We do not send submitted names, email addresses, phone numbers, company free text, messages, or calculator input values as analytics event parameters.

Google Analytics is on by default when you visit our public business website, unless a saved opt-out is present. Our cookie notice provides a Decline analytics option. You can at any time through Cookie preferences. We save your choice in your browser’s localStorage under bh_analytics_consent_v1 and honor previously saved declines. Opting out stops new analytics measurement and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. Google may finish processing events already queued before your opt-out; opting out does not retroactively remove information already processed. We do not replay activity from periods when analytics was off. Declining does not prevent browsing, contacting us, or subscribing. Clearing browser storage removes the saved choice, so analytics returns to its default-on setting.

Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalization, and Google Signals are disabled in this implementation. We do not currently operate an on-site LinkedIn Insight Tag or other on-site advertising pixel for cross-context behavioral advertising. Google Analytics is not added to our private admin workspaces or Royal Takedown app pages.

If we introduce technology that constitutes a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under an applicable U.S. privacy law, we will provide the required notice and opt-out mechanism before or at the point of collection.

6. International transfers

Boost Higher is based in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. When we transfer personal information subject to the GDPR or UK GDPR outside the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we will use a transfer mechanism recognized by applicable law, such as an adequacy decision, appropriate contractual safeguards, or another permitted mechanism. You may request information about the safeguards relevant to your information by emailing contact@boosthigher.com.

7. How long we keep information

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including to respond to requests, maintain a business relationship, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We consider the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purpose for which it was collected, the length of the relationship, legal requirements, and the need to preserve or delete information securely.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or securely archive it in accordance with our retention practices.

8. Your privacy choices and rights

Marketing choices

You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by emailing contact@boosthigher.com. You may object at any time to direct marketing based on legitimate interests. We will honor your choice as required by applicable law.

EEA and UK rights

Subject to applicable law, individuals in the EEA and UK may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred.

U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have rights to know or access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, delete information, opt out of certain targeted-advertising, sale, or profiling activities, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights. California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing where applicable, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.

To submit a request, email contact@boosthigher.com. We will verify and respond to requests as required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where state law allows, subject to verification of the agent’s authority.

9. Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about individuals based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We may use technology to organize, route, measure, or support a response to a request; people remain responsible for material business decisions.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information through website forms or email unless we have provided a secure method for doing so.

11. Children’s privacy

Our website, services, and business marketing are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, email contact@boosthigher.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated notice on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be handled as required by applicable law.
